BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART

BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART

(Mat 5:8 KJV)
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

(Job 19:25-27 KJV)
For I know that my redeemer liveth,
and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
{26} And though after my skin worms destroy this body,
yet in my flesh shall I see God:
{27} Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another;
though my reins{Heb=innermost body parts} be consumed within me.

PURITY
1. Freedom from foreign admixture or corrupting matter;
2. Cleanness; freedom from foulness or dirt;
3. Freedom from guilt or the defilement of sin; innocence; as purity of heart or life.
4. Chastity; freedom from contamination by illicit sexual connection.

(Mat 23:27-28 KJV)
Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward,
but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
{28} Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men,
but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

(1 Chr 29:17a KJV)
I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness.

(Psa 15:2-5 KJV)
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
{3} He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour,
nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
{4} In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD.
He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
{5} He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent.
He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

(Psa 18:26-28 KJV)
With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt show thyself froward.
{27} For thou wilt save the afflicted people; but wilt bring down high looks.
{28} For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.

(Psa 24:4-6 KJV)
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart;
who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully
. {5} He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
{6} This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

(Psa 51:5-13 KJV)
Behold, I was shapen in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me.
{6} Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts:
and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.
{7} Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
{8} Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.
{9} Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
{10} Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
{11} Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
{12} Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.
{13} Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

(Prov 22:11-12 KJV)
He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.
{12} The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge,
and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.

(Ezek 36:25-29 KJV)
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean:
from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
{26} A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
{27} And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes,
and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
{28} And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers;
and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.
{29} I will also save you from all your uncleannesses...

(2 Cor 7:1 KJV)
Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved,
let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,
perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

(Titus 1:15-16 KJV)
Unto the pure all things are pure:
but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure;
but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
{16} They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him,
being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

(Heb 9:14 KJV)
How much more shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God,
purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

(Heb 10:22-25 KJV)
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith,
having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
{23} Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
{24} And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
{25} Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

(James 3:17-18 KJV)
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated,
full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.
{18} And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

(James 4:8-10 KJV)
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
{9} Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
{10} Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

(1 Pet 1:21-25 KJV)
Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory;
that your faith and hope might be in God.
{22} Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren,
see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
{23} Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
{24} For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: {25} But the word of the Lord endureth for ever.
And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD

(2 Cor 6:16-18 KJV)
And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols?
for ye are the temple of the living God;
as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them;
and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
{17} Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
{18} And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
(2 Cor 7:1 KJV) Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved,
let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit,
perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

(Exo 29:45-46 KJV)
And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
{46} And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt,
that I may dwell among them: I am the LORD their God.

(1 Ki 8:27-30 KJV)
But will God indeed dwell on the earth?
behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee;
how much less this house that I have builded?
{28} Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication,
O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer,
which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:
{29} That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day,
even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there:
that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.
{30} And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant,
and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place:
and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place:
and when thou hearest, forgive.

(Lev 26:11-13 KJV)
And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
{12} And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
{13} I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt,
that ye should not be their bondmen;
and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.

(Psa 68:18-20 KJV)
Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive:
thou hast received gifts for men;
yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
{19} Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
{20} He that is our God is the God of salvation;
and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

(Isa 57:15 KJV)
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

(Ezek 37:26-28 KJV)
Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them:
and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
{27} My tabernacle also shall be with them:
yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
{28} And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel,
when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.

(Rev 21:3-8 KJV)
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men,
and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people,
and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
{4} And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.
{5} And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.
And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
{6} And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end.
I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
{7} He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
{8} But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,
and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,
shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:
which is the second death.

(1 Cor 13:9-12 KJV)
For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
{10} But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
{11} When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child:
but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
{12} For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

(Heb 12:14-15 KJV)
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
{15} Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God;
lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you,
and thereby many be defiled;

(1 John 3:2-3 KJV)
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be:
but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
{3} And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself,
even as he is pure.

(1 Cor 13:12 KJV)
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face:
now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

(2 Cor 3:17-18 KJV)
Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
{18} But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

(2 Cor 5:6-11 KJV)
Therefore we are always confident,
knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
{7} (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
{8} We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body,
and to be present with the Lord.
{9} Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
{10} For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ;
that every one may receive the things done in his body,
according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
{11} Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;
but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

God Bless You.....brother bob.......<>.
