Jesus Christ: Emmanuel : God with Us

BORN OF A VIRGIN MOTHER
Mat 1:23 (KJV)
Behold, a virgin shall be with child,
and shall bring forth a son,
and they shall call his name Emmanuel,
which being interpreted is,
God with us.

THE EVERLASTING FATHER
Isa 9:6 (KJV)
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

HE IS OUR STRENGTH AND SALVATION
Isa 12:1-6 (KJV)
And in that day thou shalt say, O LORD, I will praise thee:
though thou wast angry with me,
thine anger is turned away, and thou comfortedst me.
{2} Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and not be afraid:
for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song;
he also is become my salvation.
{3} Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation.
{4} And in that day shall ye say,
Praise the LORD,
call upon his name,
declare his doings among the people,
make mention that his name is exalted.
{5} Sing unto the LORD; for he hath done excellent things:
this is known in all the earth.
{6} Cry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion:
for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

HIS GOINGS FORTH HAVE BEEN OF OLD
Micah 5:2 (KJV)
But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah,
yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel;
whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

JESUS IS "GOD WITH US"
Mat 1:23 (KJV)
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son,
and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

ALL THINGS WERE CREATED BY JESUS IN THE BEGINNING

John 1:1-5 (KJV)
In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
{2} The same was in the beginning with God.
{3} All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made that was made.
{4} In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
{5} And the light shineth in darkness;
and the darkness comprehended it not.

WHOEVER RECEIVES CHRIST WILL RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE

John 1:9-14 (KJV)
That was the true Light,
which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
{10} He was in the world,
and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
{11} He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
{12} But as many as received him,
to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name:
{13} Which were born, not of blood,
nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,
but of God.

{14} And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
and we beheld his glory,
the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,
full of grace and truth.

JESUS CHRIST IS OVE ALL THINGS

Rom 9:5 (KJV)
Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came,
who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

GOD WAS IN CHRIST RECONCILING THE WORLD BACK TO HIMSELF

2 Cor 5:17-20 (KJV)
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new.
{18} And all things are of God,
who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ,
and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

{19} To wit, that God was in Christ,
reconciling the world unto himself,
not imputing their trespasses unto them;
and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

{20} Now then we are ambassadors for Christ,
as though God did beseech you by us:
we pray you in Christ's stead,
be ye reconciled to God.

WE BECOME ADOPTED SONS OF GOD THROUGH THE DEATH OF CHRIST

Gal 4:4-5 (KJV)
But when the fulness of the time was come,
God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
{5} To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

CHRIST TOOK ON OUR FLESH WHILE REMAINING GOD

Phil 2:5-8 (KJV)
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
{6} Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
{7} But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant,
and was made in the likeness of men:
{8} And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself,
and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

CHRIST IS THE IMAGE OF THE INVISIBLE GOD

(Col 1:12-17 KJV)
Giving thanks unto the Father,
which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
{13} Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness,
and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
{14} In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
{15} Who is the image{Grk=resemblance, representation} of the invisible God,
the firstborn of every creature:
{16} For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers:
all things were created by him, and for him: {17} And he is before all things,
and by him all things consist.

GOD WAS MADE MANIFEST IN THE PERSON OF CHRIST

1 Tim 3:16 (KJV)
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels,
preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
